Aniimo's January 25 Update Squashes 18 Bugs and Cues Up Two New Events

A maintenance patch clears mission-blocking bugs, polishes skills and visuals, and sets up the Shining Star Audition and Aniimo Discovery events the next morning.

Released on January 25, this update is squarely a cleanup pass. The headline goal was clearing several frequently reported problems, chief among them faults that left missions impossible to complete. In total, 18 issues were resolved, including miscounted Aniipods, blocked story beats around the Emberpup vine-burning and Infergon battle steps, the Moody Cap movement restriction, off catch rates along the Tideblossom Coast, and character models getting truncated during customization.

The patch also tunes feel rather than just fixing breakage. Skill effects for Mega Mallet and Plushie Pummel were optimized, and the team sharpened visuals across water reflections, glittering effects, and five hairstyles.

Two events follow on January 26 at 04:00 (UTC+8). The Shining Star Audition tasks players with dressing up their Aniimo to match announced topics for rewards, while Aniimo Discovery sends Pathfinders into Idyll to track and catch two newly surfaced mystery creatures. If you are chasing those two, our creature-catching guide walks through the tracking and catch loop step by step.

Editor’s note: with the corrected catch rates along the Tideblossom Coast landing the same week Aniimo Discovery opens, this is a good moment to go hunting. The fix means catch attempts there should now behave as intended, so testers heading into Idyll for the two mystery creatures are working from a cleaner baseline than they were before the patch.

As an apology for the disruption, anyone who finished character creation before 18:00 on January 25 (UTC+8) can claim 300 Glimmer, 10 Aniipod Trace, and 1 Prismana Crystal by mail.
