Pawprint Studio has rolled out a fresh look at Aniimo, debuting its latest trailer at the Tokyo Game Show. The new footage carries players across the magical world of Idyll, sweeping from shadowy, mysterious forests to calm, snow-blanketed fields and showing off the creatures that inhabit each region. It builds on the earlier reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase, giving fans a wider tour of the landscapes they’ll soon be exploring.
Released in step with the trailer is a community contest called “An Aniimo is Born,” themed around the prompt to design your dream Aniimo and leave your mark on the universe. Entrants submit a sketch, a backstory, and a set of unique abilities through a Google Form. The studio is putting real stakes behind it: ten winners each receive a $400 gift voucher, while a single grand-prize winner takes home a $999 voucher and, more notably, sees their creature built into the game itself.
