Diamond Egg Heist
Diamond Egg Heist is the headline competitive mode FunPlus is using to show off Aniimo's Global Closed Beta Test. It scales up the studio's existing Egg Heist concept into a much larger contest: up to six teams of three Pathfinders drop into the same arena and race each other to claim a single prize, the diamond egg. The objective is simple to describe and brutal to win. Be the first squad to twine with the diamond egg, then survive the exit. Twining is Aniimo's transformation mechanic, and here it doubles as the carry action: the moment one player twines with the egg, the round flips from a sprint into a defended escort. The two remaining teammates have to protect their carrier and shepherd the egg all the way to safety while the other five teams try to take it. That turn from a free-for-all scramble into a coordinated breakaway is what gives Diamond Egg Heist its identity, and why FunPlus picked it as the Global CBT centerpiece rather than a quiet co-op activity. It builds on the original Egg Heist that Aniimo ran during its earlier closed beta, a three-player real-time PvPvE mode set in the Lost Isles where squads competed to seize a Giant Darkler Egg. Diamond Egg Heist keeps that steal-and-escort core and pushes it toward full team-versus-team competition.
